Site Engineer – London Bridge
Location: London Bridge, Central London
Salary: Up to £70,000 + Package
Job Type: Permanent
Ridgeway & Co are currently recruiting an experienced Site Engineer to join a major construction project based in London Bridge, Central London.
The successful candidate will join an established contractor and work closely with the wider project delivery team on a technically demanding scheme. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer looking for a long-term permanent position on a major London project.
Responsibilities
*
Setting out and surveying across the project
*
Checking line, levels and dimensions
*
Producing accurate site records and as-built information
*
Completing QA inspections and associated documentation
*
Reviewing and interpreting technical and construction drawings
*
Coordinating with subcontractors and site teams
*
Identifying and resolving engineering and technical issues
*
Supporting Site Managers and Project Managers with project delivery
*
Monitoring works against drawings, specifications and required tolerances
*
Ensuring engineering activities are completed safely and accurately
Requirements
*
Previous experience working as a Site Engineer
*
Main contractor or major subcontractor background
*
Experience working on large-scale construction projects
*
Strong setting-out and surveying experience
*
Competent using relevant surveying equipment
*
Good understanding of QA procedures and documentation
*
Ability to confidently interpret technical drawings
*
Relevant Civil Engineering or construction qualification
*
Valid CSCS card
*
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Package
Salary up to £70,000 + package, depending on experience.
