Job Description
My client are in an enviable position to facilitate the construction of one of the largest high-tech construction contracts in the UK.
Reporting into the Logistics Director on a 3 1/2 year scheme, you'll be required to do the following:
Oversee the supply chain, site access, material flows, plant allocation (cranes, hoists), traffic management, and waste strategies to ensure safe, lean, and uninterrupted site operations
Plan and enforce vehicle movement routes, delivery slots, offloading zones, hoarding inspections, and perimeter security
Manage traffic management and logistic plans and close liaison with local stakeholders to ensure the necessary consents were are in place
Responsible for ensuring the allocation of all deliveries to the project and that hauliers and trades supply chains adhered to the Traffic Management and Logistic Plan
Conforming to logistics strategy for the project, detailing staffing requirements with traffic marshals, fire marshals, labourers, hoist drivers, security and carpenters provided by sub-contract logistic companiesDepending on the calibre of the candidate, up to £75k plus package and all subsistence paid for.
