Duct Fitter - Contract
Location: Peterborough
Contract: Contract / Temporary
Pay: up to £220 a day
Industry: Mechanical & Ventilation
DBS: Enhanced DBS required
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Duct Fitter to join a project in Peterborough on a contract basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled ductwork professional with experience installing ventilation and ductwork systems within commercial, industrial or construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
Installing and fitting ductwork and ventilation systems in line with drawings and project specifications.
Reading and working from technical drawings and installation plans.
Measuring, cutting and assembling ductwork accurately.
Installing associated brackets, supports and fittings.
Working alongside other trades and site teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
Completing work to a high standard and in accordance with site health and safety requirements.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Duct Fitter / Ductwork Fitter.
Proven experience installing ductwork and ventilation systems.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
Ability to work effectively as part of a site team.
Valid Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
Relevant site qualifications/cards where required.
Contract Details
Location: Peterborough
Contract basis: Temporary / Contract
Start: ASAP, subject to project requirements
Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
Enhanced DBS: Essential
