Cover Supervisor - Harrow Harrow | Day-to-Day | Monday-Friday | 8:30am-3:30pm Are you an enthusiastic and confident individual looking to gain valuable experience working in a secondary school? We're looking for reliable and motivated Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Harrow on a day-to-day basis. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates and individuals with experience in education, youth work, tutoring, coaching or classroom support who are looking to develop their experience within a school environment. What You'll Do Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher Deliver pre-set lessons and ensure students remain focused on their work Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment Support students with their learning and answer questions where appropriate Follow school policies and procedures Ensure students complete the work provided by the class teacher Monitor attendance and maintain accurate classroom records Deal confidently and calmly with low-level behaviour issues Build positive and professional relationships with students and staff Provide feedback to teaching and pastoral staff where requiredWhat We're Looking For Confident, reliable and approachable Strong classroom management and communication skills Ideally educated to degree level and/or have experience working with young people Experience in a school, education, tutoring, youth work, coaching or similar environment is desirable Able to manage challenging behaviour calmly and professionally Organised, adaptable and able to follow lesson plans Comfortable working across different year groups and subjects Passionate about supporting young people and maintaining high standards of behaviour Available for day-to-day work across HarrowTo Apply To apply or find out more, contact Elizabeth Topley: Email: (url removed) Phone: (phone number removed) (Option 3)
