School Caretaker / Minibus Driver
Hours: Monday – Wednesday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Location: Uxbridge

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and practical School Caretaker / Minibus Driver to join a school in Uxbridge.
The role combines day-to-day caretaking and facilities duties with responsibility for safely transporting students. The successful candidate will need to be confident driving a school minibus and supporting with manual handling and general site-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities

Safely transport students as part of their daily school routine
*
Drive the school minibus in line with relevant safety procedures
*
Complete general caretaking and facilities-related duties
*
Assist with manual handling and moving equipment where required
*
Carry out basic maintenance and minor repairs
*
Help maintain a safe, clean and well-presented school site
*
Report faults, hazards and maintenance issues
*
Support with opening, securing and general upkeep of the site
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
*
Valid D1 driving licence
*
Previous experience driving a minibus or similar vehicle
*
Experience with general caretaking, facilities or maintenance duties
*
Comfortable undertaking manual handling duties
*
Reliable, responsible and safety-conscious approach
*
Valid DBS check
*
Right to Work in the UK
Desirable:
*
Previous school or education setting experience
*
Basic DIY and maintenance skills
*
Manual handling training
*
Experience transporting children or young people
